Dear 'Zakintosh' (I hope you do not think it rude for me to call you that.)

I am Rayhan Bhai's younger cousin you met.

You have changed your blog address. It took me a long roundabout (and secret) route to find you. To be honest, it was more to find Windmills and links to other blogs which he used to mention. I have been visiting some of them in the last week and searching for all the comments he made. Boy, he sure was funny.

This is to thank you and all his blogger friends whose writings he enjoyed very much and believed that you all enjoyed his comments, too.

He was very special to me. Supportive. Loving. More than he should have been, some people insisted. But I think that was because of his condition more than his crazy beliefs.

There's more I want to say, but not in a public space. Would you mind if I wrote to you via emails? But you will have to promise that they will remain private. Just respond to this with Yes or No.

Let me close with Eid Mubarak. Ohhh. Just remembered. To you and him it was always Eed. I first found out about that only a year or more ago when I saw a photo of all of us cousins in Pakistan in our Eid clothes, which he had labelled Eediots. Then he read out something from one of your posts and said here's another sensible guy.

I read many of your blogs. You must have some idea about how similar you two are. Are? Does one say "were" in such a case?

My sister and I asked him why he doesn't blog. He could dictate to us and we'd type. Ray (which is what we called him) said he only had enough energy left for short breath-sized comments.

It's a pity I can't even say a prayer for him. He told me it won't work.

Sorry. This has gotten longer than I wanted it to be.
