All that such vigils do is to tell people, especially the perpetrators - whether they care or not - that there are some people who do care. They also tell the minorities and others that they have support, however small our group may be. There is little we can do without the Government's support but we try.

ReplyDeleteTo "Anonymous": Our Ahmadi friends need to see VISIBLE solidarity, so yes, vigils are hugely important, if even just for symbolism.
